The Gen 1 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S (955) and its enduring allure of the German automaker's engineering prowess is finally getting the recognition it deserves. SB are thrilled to be offering a well maintained, low ownership example in metallic Marine Blue - a Turbo S exclusive colour, no less. Costing significantly more than a Turbo when new, today 955 Turbo S cars are so few and far between and rarely come to market. Only available in 2006, according to Rennlist, just ~1500 were manufactured, with less than 300 delivered in the UK. Intercoolers, air suspension, throttle body, front brakes (380mm) were all upgraded over the Turbo model. The Turbo S sees a boost of horsepower over the standard Turbo, too; 514bhp in the Turbo S compared to 444bhp to be exact, with an almighty 530lb/ft of torque. Mated to a 6-speed Tiptronic gearbox the Turbo S launches from 0 – 60mph in just 5.2 seconds. The Turbo S has low range, locking center diff and locking front diff as standard which adds to its off-road prowess. The 955 Cayenne does have some known weaknesses such as coolant pipe issues on both the Turbo and Turbo S models. These have already been changed for the upgraded alloy pipes. A new compressor for the air suspension, new Cardan prop-shaft bearing and discs and pads were fitted in 2021. This particular Turbo S comes with a complete factory tool kit, Bose sound system with Subwoofer in the boot, Comfort pack, Alcantara headlining and front & rear heated seats as standard. With just 99,500 miles this Turbo S has been well-maintained and cherished by its three previous owners. Today, absolutely everything works as it should on the car.
